Can somebody tell me where the adjustment is for a 2003 Integra Luxury hand brake - I've only just recently purchased the car and at present when the hand brake is pulled on it nearly come up to my armpit.
Thanks

if you lift off the cover of the hand brake, you should be able to see it bare on the mount. there is a nut at the back of the body of the hand brake, should be just above the floor pan. this can alter the height of your hand brake. in my EG its like that, but i imagine it shouldnt be anymore different to the integra. just play around with it until you feel comfortable in the position

Thanks for the tip - it's obvious that you don't know where the hand brake adjustment is either, but for your info I happen to be 6'5" tall and sitting on a couple of telephone books (Sydney size) is not really appropriate as my head would be sticking out of the sun roof! Perhaps you might be referring to telephone books in the NT - I would expect them to be pretty thin as not too many people live there!
Have a good one.

only kidding, i'm 6'4 its a bit of a squeeze getting in
we actually dont have a phone book, is just a double sided paper.
hmmm, definition of australia? living in the middle of the desert, and not having water restrictions :D

You were right, your car is similar. I undid 2 screws and then endeavoured to remove the end cover of the centre console, however it would not come away readily and I could not see what was holding it in place. It turned out that it was being held by 2 clips that were slightly corroded and with a little bit of persuasion they came away. Then it was just a simple matter of tightening up the hand brake cable adjustment nut. Thanks once again for your advice.

hey guys, got a 94 integra here. would this fix or help a weak handbreak problem? eg unless i pull hard as i can my car will probably roll down a steep hill. or it'd b fine until i comeback to find it kissing the curb with the lip unsightly resting on the footpath at a unnaturally outwardly flexed position *heart breaks*

You're meant to leave your car in 1st or reverse gear when parking on a slope.
