Can anyone recommend a friendly place who offers a competitive interest rate? I know I can research it myself, but better to hear it from someone who has dealt with them first hand. Thanks.

You'll have to do your own research. There are more factors involved than just interest rates. Fixed/varied, withdrawal facility, setup fees, ongoing fees, various insurance levels etc..

Sorry pop, but I don't think any information given here is going to be of much help - as it will be biased.

So you'll have to look whats on offer then make a judgment as to what facilities you value in a loan agreement.

But to try and help make sure you checkout bankwest.

As the other's stated it is really down to your own preferences, eg: length of the loan, fixed or variable rate, gotta make sure there's no early repayment charges if you chosse to pay it off before the full term of the loan.

Personally, if you filter all the crap out i have always found my ACTUAL bank has given me the best deal in the long run.
They don't suck you in with any 1st 6 months interest free bull $#!+, just a proper contract with a resonable rate!

Dealerships have really good deals. My inlaws just bought a car on 4.99 % for the life of the loan. Not lease either.
