i was told my 94 civic ferio was a EG9 but today wen i was changing my headlight globe i saw that it was EG8 is there any difference between the two?

EG9 has b16a, different interior, and is a 4 seater

then it's a eg8.. converted to eg9 ?

have you got pics ? we'll be able to tell you whether it's a genuine eg9 or not..

does your car have b16a ?
i'm not too sure what the jdm civic ferio's with d-series are.. but they could be eg8 ?

it also came out in a 1.3 sedan

these are the only ones that came out in the sedan range apart from the
4wd version which had the EH1 code running a ZC motor

it definatly VTI, and the interior is different....I.E Has cup holden under dash, sunroof, headrests ETC,

ive been told its a b16a by sum guy but who knows....how do i tel?

then as 90LAN has mentioned, it's an eg8, with jdm vti (d15b) engine..

not an eg9 with b16a..
unless it has been converted, but all the exterior shots say it's otherwise..

check the engraving on the engine...it should tell the engine code (D16Y/B16A/D15B)...but it could've had an engine conversion...
