timing belt variations for b16a

I am looking for a timing belt for my jap spec b16a2 engine. I have been told the timing belts are not all the same for b16a engines. There is one which is 24mm wide and 124 teeth and another which is 29mm wide and 129 teeth. Can anyone advise which one will suit the b16a2?

yup there is 2 for B series , B16a and B18c :)

Belt size is 124RU26

B16B / B18C is OEM PN: 06141-P72-305
Belt size is 126RU26

Belt sizes given can be used to order generic aftermarket belts from various manufacturers.

Thanks. I thought it was strange that apparently there are 2 different sized belts with the same part # suiting the b16a. (I was aware that there was an entirely different part # for a b18c). Apparently there is a different one for the engine in the CRX/Del Sol, and Civic VTiR.

Correct,
The format of the belt size is the same for 99% of engines so that any mechanic can quickly determine what belt is required, should a parts catalogue or OEM parts supply not be readily available.
It also alows parts interpreters who may not be familiar with the engine type to also quickly locate the correct product.

Sorry, they are B-Series DOHC Vtec engines as 1st post was about B16A.
B18B~B20B timing belt PN is 06141-P7J-305
Belt size is 125RU26

For B18B~B20B with B16A or B18C cyl head,
Use B18C (126RU26) timing belt & B18C or B16A water pump.(with 22T pulley)
