i've got 98 model EK...
i wanna change to the type R style
is it better to change the full front and rear bar?
or is it better to put lips? i wanted to go cheaper way just buying lips
but i dunno where i can buy from in MELB...everywhere seem to be selling 280 for one lip...pls help.

buying lips won't be the cheaper option if you get the genuine parts

if you look around youll find the factory front lip for about $150 and thats in sydney even, not painted though.. the rear lip is also about $150 not painted.. try look up honda access cause thats where i got my lip spoilers from. installations easy too.. its obviously OEM fit

^^ for sure...

someone in melb bought a whole front (& rear) bar, no mouldings, with the type r style lip moulded to it, i.e. one piece... looked pretty good too.

or u can source a used 96-98 civic coupe front bar (has no mouldings), then slap on a type r lip! i dunno if this would work, but in theory sounds ok to me :D
i'm guessing u can do the same with a 99-00 civic hatch rear bar
