Hey i konw the b16a comes out of the ek civic ...
What car and year model do the dseries vtec come out of ?
Are they easy to find and what do they go for around??

Reason being, im going to turn my mini clubman into a vtec hopefully these holidays:thumbsup:

from what i know the d series vtec came in the EG VTi version. and in my opinion it would be a waste of money buying the d series because then you will want more and thats just money wasted right there. if you do want a difference go for B18 conversion

Yeah i remeber the d series not going as hard but remmeber this is for a little 1970s mini..

Civic Vti - 93~95 D16Y8 (or something like that)
Though they're not worth much, somone of these forums will likley have one as plenty of guys have done B-Series engine conversions & may still have them lying around.
You should put a post in the wanted to buy section & see how you go.
(We had one, buy swaped it with Honbits for some A/C brackets we needed - sorry:p)
