As im turboing my Y4, i thought maybe i should upgrade my transmition (mine is old anyway, 220 KM, and a worn 1st gear syncro). Would it be a good idea to go for this one?

Up for auction is a 5speed manual gearbox removed from a EJ civic D16y8 with 90,000kms. It doesnt make any noises (whines or crunches) and includes reverse switch and speedo sensor

From a member here. Will this be dirrect install, NOTHING AT ALL else required? Because it says comes with reverse switch and speedo sensor, will i even need these?

I only want it if its no hassles at all... just dirrect fitment, thats it.
Any help appreciated!

from Y4 to a EJ civic D16y8?

better ratios, 40mm axle bearings.

I think its a bolt on... kind of.
Clutch is different.

Time for an OBX lsd?

Nick.

If you swapped from an Auto y4 to an Auto y8 gearbox. Is this an upgrade?
