Hey guys,
Just wondering if you guys have heard or used Neo gear oil to fix all your gearbox related issues.
I have a 05 WRX and have done 35k kms, It was very hard for me to put it in reverse and the gears didnt seem to shifting smoothly. After changing to Neo gear oil it made alot of difference, Reverse went straight in and changing gears was impoved.
Theres a guy on a wrx forum that rallies his wrxs and he swears by using Neo gear oil to fix gear crunching and making the boxes last longer.
The oil in the pic below is what i use in my WRX

I hope this helps someone.

Good Stuff!!!
Make sure you pick the right one for your box (non lsd / lsd). For the LSD variant, they give you an additional additive so you can fine tune it...
I'll point you a place in Sydney you can get it if you want....
However for Hondas, duno... from all the threads i've read it seems Honda's are picky to use Honda MTF Only.
I know of plenty people using these on Nissans with great results... their motor oils and coolant are awesome too!!!!

Neo gear oil sure is great stuff! and its suposed to be a lifetime fill.
I spoke with the one of the Australian distributors of Neo and he said that Neo oil Aust has advised him that the 75w-90HD is recommended for the K20A gearbox

As long as he recommends that... i just don't know of anyone else whose used it on Honda... would have given it a go if my box was in good nick.. couldn't afford the risk now though.
DC5 have LSD don't they? Ask the distributor about the tuning additive... it's a neccesity for the LSD variant.
But having felt Neo oil and mtf on Nissans and a wrx.... damn smooth!!!

Don't be scared to talk to Gerard the owner.. he's a top bloke.
His business above is actually a side business, he works for PAR engineering who make gearsets and drivetrain parts at very competitive prices.
