It Looks Like One Of Your Sensor Needs To Be Replaced.
Maf Sensor? O2 Sensor?

hey, yes i have had the same problems as you many times, first thing to do is test your leads one by one with a multimeter, To workout the proper reading it should be about 15 kiloohm per metre of ignition lead, if it does than your leads are good, if it reads about 15-18 kiloohm or more on any of your leads then you have a busted lead(s) the other thing i have noticed is that if there is even a small amout of water or even a small amount of oil that has leaked into the distributer cap through maybe a damaged seal it can do this exact same thing your explaining. do you ever have trouble starting the car?

i'd change to new plugs also, and check your spark plug leads also

Yea my car does this. But not so bad, it doesnt drop revs or gain revs, just chugs, like all jerky, then i put my foot down, and car makes a deep note, then starts pulling again.
Was going to change plugs & leads, and see where that takes me.
If you work yours out please tell me, i might have same problem.

i got this problem last time, and it's because of my fuel filter was blocked.
I found it after I've changed spark plugs and leads.

I had exact same problem, they found it to be a hairline crack in the distributor cap that could only be seen under ultraviolet light. Hopefully that may help

try changing fuel filter also, had something similar in an older car
TPS possibly - when it's doing it, unplug the TPS and see if it changes anything - if it DOESNT change then your TPS is bung.
I'm assuming it doesnt have this problem when cold ? perhaps could be as simple as air-bubbles in your coolant system !! once thermostat opens the bubbles find their way round to the IACV (etc) and can cause similar problems.
