Its for driving turbos or V8's

Nothing elses.

Its like, due to the laws the crime isnt bad enough to take ur licence away, so instead, they make the points u loose so high that u loose your licence n e way

lol 7 points is ridiculous.

its worst than speeding.

prohibited = the vehicles on the prohibited list.

there's a seperate condition on ur license which says must drive automatic vehicles... which isn't on my green p's anyway.

no you don't, dd only applies to speeding and seat belt, nothing else.

But, if you run the redlight during a DD long weekend, you lose 4 points instead of just 3. So the others won't be doubled, but you'll still get hit by extra points.

i got done a while ago. no demerits but $114 fine. i payed it and got my manual license.

just a tip guys. dont lift your knee up to hide the shifter. worked a couple of times. then finally one officer asked me to drop the leg.

just get the manual license and enjoy

Double demerits only relates to speeding and seatbelt offences. Are you sure you arent looking for this?
Fail to comply with licence conditions - $185, 2 demerit points.

The other charge is for turbo/modified vehicles while on restricted licence, i think.
