Hey Guys,

Im new here and I haven't really intro myself (coz im too god damn lazy :D ) but here it goes. Hi everyone! :o

Recently i fitted some 17" rims on my dc5r and the tyre fitter guy commented that if i lower my car I would need to roll my guards (the inner bits) which I'm guessing would allow my wheels to go up more?

I haven't really heard much about rolling the guards. Is this really neccessary for 17" on a dc5r? If so who can do it and how much does it usually cost to do it?

it isnt nessecary if you dont lower it, it also isnt nessecary if you dont lower it by much, it also isnt nessecary if you lower it and the tyres dont rub the guards... so if you really do lower it by a significant amount and you notice scrubbing (you will hear it....) then rolling your guards may help. be sure they heat the guard up first to prevent cracking of the paint (although the paint may crack overtime anyway :P)
