EK1 - install stereo

hey just wondering how i pull apart the dash to install a stereo in the EK1's ??

stock stereo has 2 screws at the back and then it just slides out

from memory i had to take out the bottom centre console from the handbrake to the front and the ashtray area to reach the 2 bolts

u can just take out your glovebox and with a nice bright torch you should be able to see the screws that are holding the headunit back. u might need to push some wiring aside.

hey mate i did this aswell,

you have to unscrew the center console to the dash you take that out, then thatgives you room to get under on the right side up the back there is 2 screws one is up far and hidden and the other is closer and on a horizontal axis.

its the most annoying thing ive ever done haha but it was fun.
