hey guys, recently i got a tune, and was told my car peviouly had a vafc, currently hav a k100. and was told that the wiring harness wires are all stuffed. like it wasnt soldered and what not, just electric taped together.
and now, randomly when i drive, headunit shuts off, then my dash starts flickering everywhere, then it doesnt work at all, abs lights srs lights and stuff go on. then headlights dont work. then car jsut STOPS, everything just shuts off.
but when the car gets jump started, every thing is fine again. but a few days later it happend again.
is this my wiring harness? or could this be something to do wit my battery? coz recently jsut installed a new one.
cheers ! any help would be great.

i recommend paying a auto elec to give the car a once over but i think that might be the harness...

Before the K100 was installed, was your car running fine without the VAFC?

I would also say the wirings that hasn't been joined properly.

I got that ages ago. only used electric tape and heat shrink. suddenly, car loses power, rev goes really low (car almost stalled) and then engine lights on.

btw, is your engine lights on or not?

hey thanks for the replies guys.
and naa i had the k100 in before the tune. everything was fine. but tuner told me the wires are just all stuffed. so im pretty sure its that, just checking if any of u guys had the same problem.
so to fix the wires up, is it jsut a matter of soldering it?
and yea sometimes the engine light blinks randomly, but then just shuts off.
thanks

try checking the battery with Voltage meter if its below 10 than you need a new battery, or just buy Battery Terminal with LED Voltage Display, other than that of course soldering the wiring is much better than just using tape to connect them.

before soldering the wires, make sure the wires are connected to the right ones first. last time I got one earth wire that is not supposed to be there. and that what caused it once in a while.

so yeah, check first before soldering them.
