Full Exhaust on Auto EG VTi worth it?

As the title states, I need your input/advice whether its worth putting a 2 inch full exhaust on an Automatic D16Y1 (1.6 OHC VTEC),its only currently got a Trust drop-in foam sports filter with the resonator box in the front bumper & "J" tube to the engine bay deleted to breathe easier & cooler. I was thinking 4-2-1 headers (2inch collector),matching cat,resonator,2 inch all the way to the muffler. I'm only expecting a 5kw gain with this. I just wanna maximize what the engines got. I've only got experience modding the B16A & B18C,& was satisfied with the results. I think I'm just bored & wanna do something different. :confused:

If you mod the b16a and B18c b4 and you were satisfied and i assume its manual, a D16 Sohc vtec is ok to mod BUT! its an auto, the response etc you get will be barely felt and overall is not a bang for buck. So dun do it

N/A cars are hard to extract good power, even the B16a with a full exhaust done properly, the difference is not huge. Unless you are willing to spend $1k above on a B16 exhaust system 5kw atw or more will be possible. And rmb thats a B16 motor, not a D16.

Potential wise, D16 already lost out, so verdict is again. Dun do it and if are bored. Get a B18CR or K20 into that EG. You wil not be bored for at least 6mths.. haha.. gd luck dude..

Hahahah,you guys are hilarious :D Yes I've only played with manual B16A/B18C engines before. This is the missus's grocery getter/train station taxi. Thanks for the humor & advice. :)

OOooo.. its the missus's car. Should have said so earlier. Unless she is prepared to bear with sound of an exhaust den no harm doing jus the muffler. If not she might scold u for messing up her everyday quiet driving. So dun bother doing the whole exhaust.

Maybe get 2nd hand headers and catback exhaust if u can. Dun pay more than $500. Xforce headers n exhaust will do the job. 5kw atw is abit hard though but possible with a gd combo.
