Who has removed the belt on their Euro? Just wondering how the tensioner is removed, maybe the same as every other K series engine.
Thanks

It doesn't have a belt, it has a chain and it never needs replacing.

I think he's talking about the serpentine accessory belt.
You don't remove the tensioner. You loosen it and move it inwards to slacken the belt. Then you start removing the pulleys.

Thanks guys. Didn't want to loosen teh bolt and have it springing out on me, looks kinda like a hi-tec sort of tensioner with onlt 1 bolt holding it in place, not sure if it was spring loaded or anything.

Has anyone actually done it or just guessing? Took it off but it is not a matter of loosening and moving as it is spring loaded and not a small spring either.
Thats OK I will sort it out myself.

I said loosen the auto-tensioner pulley, not remove it.... Anyway, here is a pic courtesy of Jtso over at tsx.acurazine.com. You turn it clockwise to loosen it.

You can't loosen the tensioner has no bolt to loosen it. I have done it already but there is no need to loosen any bolts when changing the belt. Thanks anyway. BTW picture doesn't show.
