I thought only ek9 run 26mm front?

ek4 22mm front, 14mm rear.

ek1 22mm front, no rear.

If you changed and definitely have a 26mm front, then a 23mm rear might be ok.

If you have a 22mm front, then a 23mm rear might be a bit unbalanced.

* 26mm front/22mm rear is a pretty standard set-up. Can't go wrong.
* 26mm front/23mm rear ........ Anyone? I think the difference between
22mm and 23mm rear will be noticeable.
* 22mm front/23mm rear. Never heard of this combination. I would steer clear of this.

Nick.

well the EJ8 has a 22mm front sway bar. I've measured it myself. there was a thread on sway bar sizes somewhere. I'll have a look for it.

This was the thread i was thinking of
http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/showthread.php?t=26820

but it doesn't have any sizes in it :(

easiest way to measure is get under the car with a metric open spanner set and see which spanner fits around the swaybar. if you can fit a size 22 spanner around the sway bar then its 22mm

Im currently running 22mm front and 20-22mm adjustable rear. its currently set on the soft setting.

Yes, I can confirm that EK4 and EK9 both have the same 26mm front sway bar.

For the rear, just use the EK9 22mm sway bar with ASR reinforcement. DC2R rear sway bar will fit but you will need special adaptors fitted to the part of the sway bar that connects to the end-link. This is because DC2R uses a different type of end-link to EK9. EK4 and EK9 use the same end-links.

22mm and 23mm rear sway bar difference will be marginal. I would get whichever comes my way first.

i have the 22mm whiteline on rear, its great + ASR. Not sure if 1 mm is gonna make that much diff.

Can someone confirm this ?

the 23mm 98+ ITR jdm rear swaybar is hollow
so its theoretically less force than a 22mm solid rear unit.

I rem my friend running the ITR bar, he told me that it was hollow but i dun rem what size it was. He told me it was equivalent to a 18mm solid one.
Apparently the main reason is weight reduction

More than likely a load of crap. If it were about weight reduction they'd have saved that 100grams somewhere else.

well... nsx-r uses mash instead of leather for gear boot to reduce... how namy grams?
I think using hollow for weight reduction dont sound odd at all.
Thats if it was the correct reason...
