I was checking out this site urbanimport.com i think its a american site but they sell rota slipstream for pretty cheap and i was wondering what type of offset and size would be for my 93 EG

Im looking for a 15" or 16" but not sure which 15x6.5, 15x7, 15x8, and the same in 16"s

Just looking for a little advise on which fits/looks best or anyone else that has this rim on their civic.

EG stock rims are 14" steelies, and by law (in VIC and most states) u can increase the rolling diameter by 15mm...

on most practical uses, u can use 15 or 16" rims (without sacrificing fuel economy)...on another note, i've seen ppl use 19s on EGs but they'd have to roll their guards...

the rim offset for EGs are between 35-45...so it would be 15/16x7 max if u're not lowering the car...

if u're asking which one looks best...we're all have our own opinions, so i'd say go for the one that u like best;)

Yea i dont think i will be lowering the car since it looks pretty low already, do you think i could sneak in a 17" without mods?

I've currently got 17s on mine... Car's lowered and i don't have any problems with scraping or bottoming out... only issue is i go through tyres about once a year, but i do drive a lot!

My EG Si hatch runs coilovers wound almost all the way down on 15x7 (+40) SSR Type C. They never scrape or scrub and run Bridgestone 195/50/15 with a bit of sidewall stretch-looks hot and handles well hard.

Thinking of getting these rims for my EG5:-

These are 15" . What would be a good offset? +35 or +40? Not too sure i just want it to look like EG5 (Yonas) car....

u gonna have to modify ur guards to run +25. dont be silly, +32 offset is enough, plenty of dish too.

i think u have to take into consideration wat size tyres u gonna put on them cause that comes into factor as well from personal experience.

good luck

found out today ( from vicroads road worthy centre ) that 15inch rims are the legal size for a eg seeing as they come stock with 14s

The Lenso AU site is picky on what they'll stock, but you can get all wheels
from the range through them.

Here's the complete range.

Click on catalog, then passenger, & your away.

I agree, i had 15x7's on my EG, i was actually disappointed when i went to a 16x6.5..just didnt have the aggressive stance of the x7's...

Also, i ran 195/50 on the front with 205/55 on the back, handled awesome. Sussie was stock Vti rear, Stock JDM Type-R front.

just wondering what size tyres are you guys running for 17's on your EG's??

i currently have 17x7 +42 offset with 215/45/17 all rounds but when turning n etc get alot of scrubbing on the rear, front seems to be ok.....

what tyre size n profile am i best to run??? or should i just roll or flare the gaurds n use the current 215/45/17 i have on them nows???

if anyones can give me some advice that be great..

cheers

i would say 215/40/17 or 205/40/17 would be alright...try rolling the guards first..if its still scrubbing..i would suggest to go with a lower profile tyre.
