Silicone Hoses

Is there any advantage of running these coolant hoses for track purposes or is OEM fine? My OEM ones are 11 years old so would it be worth fitting these if I'm going to track the car? 96 EK1 SOHC

If the price is the same or similar to new OEM pipes , you might as well get these to dress up the engine bay. They wont flex or balloon as much as OEM
