I will be tracking my car in the future and since I can't run a B or C piller bar in my 96 Civic sedan I've been checking these out:
Brace (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Universal-Strut-Bar-Lower-Rear-Cross-Floor-Bar-Sway_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33592QQihZ002QQite mZ120182159867QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWD1V)

$156 US shipped. It's a universal fit so there will probably/definately be fittament issues.
Has anyone had experience with these? Is it worth doing for the occasional tracker? Is it street legal?

I think a B-Pillar bar would have more effect.... Has anyone fabbed up one for an EK Sedan?

Whiteline had a non-catalog b-pillar for an EK hatch.

Since, they're not ADR legal, they don't list them, you have to ask.

Damn.

From what I have read (and personal experience) the largest gains you will have is from a rear sway bar, front sway bar (if required), front and rear tower bars. Everything else only provide minor changes and a number of instances there are no real advantages, it is all in the drivers head.

Yeah, the whiteline one will fit your sedan if the bolts on the b-pillar seat belt mounts are exposed, if u know wat i mean.

Alos that floor brace will fit now worries. I got one with exact same design and it fits perfect. My floor brace i got off US Ebay ended up costing me $120AUS. Not sure if it really did that much handling wise but it does look good.

The B-Pillar bar makes a bit of difference, not too much but it is worthy of a purchase for sure!!

Thank you.Does the b-pillar brace get in the way of your head? Or do you just adjust your seat to suit.
That cool, the floor brace will fit no worries. Is the floor brace street legal?

The B pillar bar will limit how far back the seat will recline.

I think so.Should be Ok cause I'll just put it on for track days and put my seat up so I can get up and into it.Yahoo!!!! Can't wait.Bit worried though cause it's my daily driver.I will definately do everything I can to prepare the car though.

The Floor brace is one of the better braces to use in the car. Surprisingly, the effects can really be felt.
