Jdm ???

Hi all..
i've got a integra type r and a mechanic told me that my car is a JDM model but it has the round head lights. my car is built in Nov 99.. can anyone please inform the differences between a JDM and a AUS version.. besides the headlights..

any information would be great..

180kmh on the cluster..

engine number - has b18c rather than b18c7 on the top line..

on the engine it say that my one is a B18C..not a B18c7..

If your cluster reads up to 260km/h, then that shouldn't be JDM hahaha, possibly AUDM Teggy with B18C?

Since you mention 99', how big are the brakes? :)

also, recaros would be black not red. Theres another difference..

Sway bar sizes 1mm difference in front + rear.

nope i have the red seats... but still dont know if this is a JDM.. so u guys recon that it might be a JDM motor inside an AUDM car... is that correct ...

so the B18C writings indicates that its a JDM??

does ur car have a rear wiper? jdms that ive seen dont. check for jap writing in engine bay/ door jams/ sun visors. b18c doesnt indicate that ur cars jdm but ur motor is

yea my car does have a rear wiper.. and no jap writing.. i think my car is a AUDM.. or mayb it has been fitted with a JDM Motor....

You took it to the mechanic.
Your car says B18C on the engine block, so you got the japanese ITR engine.

Thats all he ment.
Your shell is AUDM by whats discussed.

Match your engine block number.
to your type-R built number (Underneath your handbrake)
(I think this is correct, someone double check, cause mines 52, and the engine block says 52)

Oh true, but it does mean its the japanese engine

i havent got a pic of the engine bay at the moment.. how ever it is a type R motor.. the only thing that i am unsure of is whether it is a JDM motor or not.

the mechanic that told me this worked at Chasers in Melbourne..
My ITR was a project car that they built a few years back ... thats why the guy told me its a JDM.. i think he means the motor is a JDM...

your motor is a japanese model .. just now need to know whether its a R or not.. you need to show us a picture of your engine bay so we can see the intake manifold

it's definitely an audm dc2r with jdm engine..
