Imported Type R

hey guys.. just wondering how much a total cost of importing DC2 type R would cost me.. I been doing a bit of research and I've found out i can purchase the car itself for 1,100,000 Yen.. which is roughly about 11k AUD.. but I'm just wondering how can i sum up the total costs like freight charges, stamp duty and any other fees i need to worry about..
If anyones imported a car before can you hit back.. I heard that I might be looking at, at least 16k in total.. just correct me if I'm wrong

Well you won't be able to import a car as it is it illegible for import. If you think you can import one, ask yourself why there is only a handful of JDM Type R's?

Cant import Honda from Japan, unless you've owned it for 1 year+ at Japan.
Only can import from Japan to here for wrecking.

Thanks for the info guys.. I'm knew that the one year ownership went for the EK9 but I wasn't sure about the Type R.. meh!! Importing is too much of a hassle I guess.. cheers guys.. heres the site where i got my info from..

u can import the ep3R

You can import 4 door DC2R's as they are a bodyshape not sold in Aus!
