View Full Version : Help with coilovers: Car very bouncy on passenger side

just finished installing the front coilovers (tein HA with Pillow ball upper mounts) on a friends DC2. Coilovers are second hand.
went to adjust the damper settings - noticed the one on the front passenger side just keeps spinning.

Took it for a spin down the street & that side bounces like ur on a trampoline - it makes the whole car bounce.!!!

would this be the cause of the problem.?

Probably a blown shock. Or some other damage to the shock if the damper adjust keeps spinning like that. Either way, sounds like it isn't doing its job.

not sure if tein HA are 2-way height adjustable..

but if they are, they could be set up wrong..
i.e. no shock travel, and you're running only on the spring..
