Hey all,
Lately I've noticed when my car gets to around a quarter of a tank i have a slight loss of power compared to after i've just filled it up. The car's had a B16A swap. I never had/noticed the problem with my old D16 so figured it might be some sort of pressure issue or maybe the fuel pump is on its way out. Has anyone had any similar problems or have an idea of what is goin on?

First , replace your FUEL FILTER. Chances are its old and clogged and when there is low fuel , the fuel pump is struggling to prime thru the blocked fiter

had it serviced about 1000k's ago and the mechanic was supposed to have changed it. I'll have a look though

Also flat tyres use up to 15% more fuel to push the car.. make sure they're properly inflated...
use premium fuel once every fortnight to slean the injectors, dont buy those injector cleaner garbage bottles

Yea I just bought new tyres last week and keep the pressure nominal. I always use BP ultimate too.
I keep the car regularly maintained so thats why i figured it might have been the pump playing up as most other things are in top condition.

Actually yea i have noticed the vacuum is pretty strong at times. I'll look into the vented cap. Cheers for the idea.
