hey guys,
long time reader first time poster.
i just bought VTI jazz yesterday.. and ive noticed that on light throttle the car bunny hops and jerks.. if i press the throttle down then it is fine
can any1 suggest why this may be happening?

Clutch slipping? Is it an 02 Jazz? What sort of kays has it seen?

the kms is currently 86.000
yes its an 02 jazz.. hrm if thats the problem ill have it checked up

Get the egr valve checked as is highly common for the 02 03 ym modelled jazzes. This will cause the car to do all sorts of weird thinks as it gets stuck open and becomes similar to a misfire. :thumbsup:

If the car is under 5yrs/150000km you may have honda coverage as is a known issue with the jazz 02/03 models.

it's right below the oil cap, just bring it in to the dealer and voice your concern and then maybe nudge em towards possible the EGR and see what they have to say about it

is any1 from melbourne able to help me out here??
i took my car to honda and they said they are not sure its the EGR valve.
but jsut to check the car they will charge me $300..
and if it is the egr valve they will charge me an additional $500..
can any1 help me out in melbourne or something?

When was the car originally retailed and how many ks has it got?

i check the casis it says November 2002 and the registration says 2002
the current kms is 86,000kms

it may not be the egr valve in this case but DR HONDA is right, egr's are a common issue on the jazz. honda has been known to fix things like this out of warranty if its a known issue such as this

where did you get it checked out?
i can't imagine a dealer charging you that much for essentially not fixing anything
