I seem to be having some problems with my locks on my car at the moment, i cant move the locks from the insides of the car, so the car always has to be locked/opened with the key, though now i have to try and lock my car at least 4-5 times before it actually locks and now when i open my drivers door it wont open the passenger side... Any ideas?

Sounds like the metal rod that connects the handle and the interior catch has slipped off. Remove the interior door panel and you will see straight away the problem (if you need help removing the panel search around or send me a PM).

Sometimes opening and closing the locks a bunch of times in succession can 'teach-in' the position (open or closed) of the actuator and it 'sorts itself out'.
The actuators can work their way loose over time and become out of sync, if the rods aren't secured perfectly. In turn causing the actuator to not know its position and not shift at all.

are the teeth on your key ok? if they are worn it might help to get new keys cut. Also its prob better to open up the door and make sure that there is nothing in the way of the lock. ALso you can lube up the moving arm of the lock

Graphite powder works best in the lock barrels as it is a dry lube - doesn't attract dust etc.
