Hi all,
when normally driven I get ~80psi WOT vtec.
I sometimes (not always) notice a oil pressure drop when i slam through the gears (going straight)... anyone else notice this? engine is a b series with all ITR baffle lips and girdle
This could potentially be ~
oil starvation ?
bad grounding of sensor?
oil too thin ?

i think first of all make sure the sensor is conected 100%, where did you get your sensor point?

its connected via sandwich plate.. its also an electrical gauge.. self grounding sensor:thumbsup: it must be connected.. cause it works 99% of the time

The best place i reckon is to put the sensor is off the head. We put ours where the vtec lines goes in for the LS/B20 vtec conversion. We run a braided line from the fitting to the actual sensor.

Da vee tek uses oil pressure, you might expect a drop at the change point?
I'm just speculating.

this is a possibility, how long does the pressure drop for, if it is only upto a few seconds around the vtec point it may be normal, are your oil levels good?
