Basically, on my Eg i have ITR Lower rear controll arms, does this mean when selecting a rear sway bar it has to suit a ITR? im quite sure it does but would be nice to have someone confirm this.

and anyone know any manufactures that make 23mm rear ITR sway bars / front Eg 26mm sways or traders that sell them

EG / DC sway bars will fit any EG / DC LCA.

best buy would be whiteline mate. or a stock ITR sway bar.

also ASR or beaks kit reinforcement kit is needed if you wanna keep your subframe in 1 piece

yeh but wouldnt the sway bar be different between a normal DC2 / EG and DCR2 ? as they are a different sway bar? or will the same sway bar fit bother normal Dc2 / eg & EG6/dc2r Rear LCAs?

and i think ill stay away from whiteline... thinking maybe eibach, they dont look bad...

the difference is only in the thickness size of the sway bar not actual design

the REAR swaybar for all EG/DC and DC2R has the same ENDLINK fittment.
Both rear LCAs have the same dimensions

Final confirmation for the stupid.

Any Rear OEM EG/DC Swaybar, will fit any DC/EG OEM Rear LCA? And in ALL (OEM) cases, the ASR Brace will reinforce it?

Any Rear OEM EG/DC Swaybar, will fit any DC/EG OEM Rear LCA?

Yes.

There is only 14mm (EG Si/vti , DC2/DC4) and the 22/23mm ITR.
The endlinks will fit with both style LCA.

And in ALL (OEM) cases, the ASR Brace will reinforce it?

AFAIK , (with OEM parts) No.

The ASR is spaced to suit the 22/23mm bracket moutning , not the 14mm bracket mounting. (the ITR bar is slightly bigger than the EG/DC 14mm bracket.)

I had ITR sway bar on my eg which also had the ITR LCAs..

Connects up to the LCA no prob, but you need to mod the bracket where the bar is bolted onto chasis..

noob question:

how much does a sway bar help? im just about to get a new koni set and wondering if i should get a few extra parts to improve with it if its cheap of coarse. theres is no plans to increase power (gli civic >.> what can do?).

couldnt find any detailed guides to suspension and all.

will the itr swaybar endlink fit onto an em1 lca?

NO . Different design. Use CTR or EK4/EM1 endlinks to fit

whiteline 20-22mm swaybar (EG) + eg6/dc2r lca = no go, they fit but because the lca's are fatter they rub on the swaybar only so slightly
(lowered car, makes a nice clunking noise:) ). its do-able but you need to modify slightly to stop it rubbing/touching

noob question:

for my dc4, i want to get a ITR rear sway bar, is it a direct bolt-on? or do i need ITR lca also?

For ASR/Beaks Kit, it would fit onto a ITR sway bar right?

u can't fit ITR rsb (rear sway bar) straight onto ur car...u'll need ASR (or other brands) subframe brace...

what do u mean fit onto ITR rsb? the rsb is supposed to be put on the ASR brace...

in short, u have to use ASR subframe brace to fit the ITR rsb, the D bracket holes for ITR rsb don't align with ur subframe hole...

Correct.

Also, you only need ITR lca's if fitting ITR shocks

just to help out noobs -

a ASR kit replicates a integra type R OR civic type R subframe , to fit the same bar on a lesser car.
