Would 16" rims on a Civic Coupe look OK with stock ride height, ie not too tip-toey? Or does it really need to be lowered? Anybody with pics of 16"s on stock height would be a bonus...

It really needs to be lowered!

How low is up to you, but if you dont wanna go to low, i suggest just closing up the gap between the tyre and guard!

nah, I think running 16" wheels on stock ride height is fine.
it doesn't look too bad, i have some pictures of 16" on my stock suspensioned Ek4. i'll try and find them and post it up here

i'd get it lowered, i just put 16 on my ek4 and it look to high. If you look at the pictures from the vic pre-spring cruise you can see a picture of my car(it's the silver one) with the wheels

it looks too high, goto the gallery, that is my car on 16" rims lowered 35mm..... still looks too high.....

i agree get it lowered...it wont look good with too bigger rims and stock height...just a thought
