Your existing gearbox works with it I think. Not certain but I've PM'd you with forums that are 4th gen specific.

yeh but this one actually comes with the gearbox...is that better? like will it still be ok? i would have thought it would be better with the Hydrolic gearbox that comes with the engine

hydro is better for heavy pressure plates. weather or not its an advantage over cable in other situations, is hard 2 say (maintenance vs feel)

yup the tranny (?!?) with the setup will be a hydro clutch - i woudl imagine you can use a donor setup from a wrecker form a vti or Si etc ...Or possibly will an older ZC /d16a8 from a ED8 crx etc....Pete ? Dave ? Help ?

As I recollect, Hasport do the conversion kit - but I doubt it's under US$200 (plus freight, import duty etc.

what so this engine that is costing me 600 bucks is going to end up costing me more just for a hydrcloric conversion kit? it doesnt make sense. is it easier just to fit the new engine to my old gearbox for now then?
