Hi, I'm planning on getting some new rims for my 2005 Odyssey RB1 with these measurements:

(F)20x8.5 (+46)
(R)20x9.5 (+?)

i need some advise on which offset i should take for the back so i don't rub against the guard (after i roll the guards of course)

I wanted the deeper looking dish on the rear so i need the right offset for the right look without causing 2 much problems, the only other offset for the rear wheels are +43 +34 or should i go 10" wide in the rear and a +37 Offset?

With the +43 i think the dish is still 2 shallow.

Staggered tyre widths won't be road legal though.

staggered? you mean stretched?

anyway, can you recommend a good offset measurement for the back?

Staggered as in the front and rear widths and offset are different.

It won't really staggered i've been doing research most of the modified japanese odyssey use these width measurements but i want to know the offset for the rear so i can have a nice dish in the back, i don't suppose you can help me?

There are certain brands and models of rims that have the same offset and width, but you get a regular version and a deepdish version. That way you can have it both deep or one deep and one regular. Something like this: http://www.tempetyres.com.au/products_closeup.asp?part=Lenso+Wheels&part_no=1088

I've still yet to find a nice offset measurement for my ride.

Thinking of going with these measurements now

(F) 20 x 8.5 (+43) High Disk (For bigger brake caliper clearance)
(R) 20 x 9.5 (+46) Low Disk
Tires
(F) 225/35/20
(R) 245/35/20

Yes going for the staggered look, with deeper lip in the rear.

I've heard that +45 - +40 is still the safest bet, but I've seen Japanese magazines with crazy offsets in the rear like
+34 +30. Of course the reason they use crazy offset is either they wider
bodywork done to the rear or air suspension or both. I know for a fact that there is a silver Odyssey in Melbourne with these specs:

(F) 20 x 8.5 (+43) (High Disk)
(R) 20 x 10 (+48) (Low Disk)

The rear guards haven't been rolled.

Go to this site to check it out

At the moment I'm using coilovers only so can anyone give me suggestions please? Need ASAP as I need to confirm my order. :)

you might want to use these 2 websites to give you some measurement changes when using those off-sets and widths

for off-set measurements

for tyre profiles

RMS, has alright customer service, no shop in Melb only in Nunawading.

So what have you decided on getting? and what other mods have you done to your RB1?

Love those wheels - Have you got a pic of them on an Oddy? Interested in whether they are HRE or replicas and the cost as well (although I suspect that I may have asked you this question before, some time ago).

Hows the ride comfort on 30 series tyres?
