Hey all! Newbie here....

Hey guys and girls - new to this forum. As i havnt yet got a honda i still want one and am hopefully picking one up over these christmas holidays. My present car atm is a R31 skyline converted to turbo and has exhuast, cooler, microtech, big fuel, coilovers, just to name a few.

I have always wanted a honda but they have been outta my price range. Now i have the cash and am going to purchase a DC2R. The only thing is that i cant seem to find any for sale in QLD

Anyhow i want to leave it basically stock except for some exhaust and intake mods. One of the members on here took me for a ride in his integra powered civic. Tony his name is - and this thing ***n hammered i didnt expect them to go as well as they did. So that just sealed the deal.

So wish me luck over the holidays and hopefully ill be posting pics of my new DC2R next couple of weeks! Looking forward to be in the honda community - sorry bout the long rant! lol

Ahh yes lol. Got a flat couple of days prior to the photos. And the auto - i was going to replace it when it blew (as i have a 20det box with a brand new extreme clutch as well sitting at home) but it hasnt yet lol so it stays.

Really not that interested in modifying anymore. This teg will be a stock as a rock (with intake and exhaust lol) reliable car. I like working on cars but i dont want to modify. If i do ill have my project thrasher. Which would prolly be a 31 NA will coillys and a locked diff.

Have that as my thrash pig

Curious to know though, what coilovers do they make for the R31? Brands? Its rare to find coilovers for aussie made local cars. i.e. i could never imagine Tein's or Zeals on a Ford Falcon.

S13 coillys - you have to use S13 front hubs and brakes, modified steering arms and modify the rear mounting position.
