Ok,
i am going to replace all my wheel studs in the near future.
I have done some reading but i would like suggestions from people that have changed their stud/s on their ED/EF CRX's

hammer them out?
vice/clamp them out?

suggestions?

what about the rears?
etc

vice them out and u won't damage the bearing

you have to remove the hub from the axel

i was thinking about vicing them out.. but i hear u need to either grind some of the stud or the knuckle to pop the new studs through the back :/

i am also thinking i might as well replace the rear hubs as well, seeming as though the car is almost 18 years old now and the bearing probably wont have much life left in it..

anyone know where i can get new rear hubs with bearings? same as ED crx for the rears? I hear the front bearings are like 90-91 LS tegs??

also, basically u undo the hub nut, from the rotor, and just get a hub puller?

what about the rears? what is the process of that?

rears is easy

undo the nut in the centre and remove the hub after removeing the brake caliper and braket

the front requre you to remove the front knuckle arm and pressing off the hub, then use a hammer and drift to kock out the stud, tap in the new stud and assemble the hub to the knuckle arm.

thanks ecu man,
what about bearing replacement, just pull it out, get a new one, grease it and push it in?

any places to new hubs as well, or should i order generics from the us?

the front oem bearings are sealed so you press them on the hub then into the knuckle arm, the rear oem bearings come with the hub, so bolt on style.

I can't find the receipts from my EF9 but I *think* we used DA 'teg bearings front and Aussie CRX rear.

what about the rear bearings (with the hub)? any recommendations on where to get them? I see US ebay is around 250 deliver for 2 rear generic hub setups

Get them from Honda. Bearings aren't too expensive from what I've seen in teh US Market.
