Hey,

I'm sizing up to install a Lukey super turbo muffler in an EK civic hatch.

Has anyone trodden this path before?

I think I can squeeze an oval 11x5.5in, 16 in shell length muffler in there,
but it's real tight and there's only a few centimeters spare.

Alternative is a 9.75x4.25in, 14in shell length, although this seems a bit conservative.

I've measured and the length seems to be the tightest parameter.

Stock mufflers are 9x8in cross section (from memory), but much shorter.

Also, the side in/side out mufflers flow a little better.

Stock civic is side in/centre out.

Will a Lukey side in/side out line up with the exhaust dimple in the rear bumper bar?

Any one with any relevant information/random ramblings welcome.

Nick.

it's better to compare the dimensions to an actual stocker you have off the car.. which i've done before.... muffler fit and everything BUT the problem was that the inlet was on the wrong side so look out for that
