ive had the same intake as Snowman, i liked it quite a lot.
it helped me net 135k-141w @ the wheels

ive tried a lot of intakes, now got a Mugen intake. mmmm :)

Swap the 18"s on your car for stockies and it'll go faster than 5 "air induction chamber"s...
Are you doing this for the look and sound of "VTEC" or you actually want your car to go faster for the least amount of money?

Jones man, its only an intake, besides, no offence you being a mod and all, but the thread was bout the intake, not "what should I do to make me go faster", shall we keep it on track?

That's fair enough.
However Lerroy enquired about "throttle response" and then "VTEC noise"...
Hence I suggested if he wanted better throttle response, another OPTION was to revert back to stock or lighter weight wheels for his car, hence making it perform better. This would be cheaper and more feasible than adding another intake item and spending more money. He could easily sell his 18" wheels and buy a set of stock alloys or steelies and have money left over.

So either he actually wants better throttle response, or the "sound of VTEC when it kicks in".

HENCE my question asking which it was he was after.

Being a mod doesn't mean I cannot make a suggestion. I was not putting anyone down, merely giving another viable route to take.

P.S: the name is J-O-N.

at the end of the day, some ppl prefer for their car to look nice as well as go fast
don't always have to be a weight nazi and try and make your car go faster by downsizing rim sizes etc

i've seen pics of lerroy's car, and it looks farkin sweet on 18's http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/images/icons/icon14.gif

flyryd, nice heat shield u have there :)

My 18's Are really not that heavy actually the blades i took off are only about 1kg lighter than my wheels now i really dont see IF i go back to stock that i am gonna get much more....
and if thats the case i may as well loose the backseat and the carpet and the A/C if im gonna go that far i think 18"s are fine my gueards are rolled and doesnt really rub at all
i will though in the future be going to 17" and get some more tyre but for now ill take my .0005 slower of a second wheels
