i have a eg breeze with a b16a in it, and last night i turned my car off and i turned it back on and my headlights are dead, my parkers and stuff are still working, and i got the test light out and tested if there was power going to it but there isnt, and i checked all the fuses and none of them are blown, does anyone have any suggestions on what i can do?

the only thing that i can think of is ur bulbs are gone...maybe shortcircuited or just reaching end of life...how long ago did u change the bulbs? did u touch the globe when changing the bulbs?

Are you using a custom junction box at all?
- Check power and earth at the switch - make sure it is switching correctly.
- Check all fuses, connections to the bulbs, wires and relays.
You can try leaving the headlights switched to ON position and lightly tap all of the relays in the relay box (if you can't work out which one is the lights relay). This may free up the relay if its stuck. It could be dead, but i've had sticky relays on a few cars before.
You can check the operation of the relay by disconnecting it and applying power (12 volts [from car battery]) and earth directly to the relay.

Apply +'ve and -'ve to pins 85 and 86 and listen for a click, when applying power to and disconnecting power from the relay. If it doesn't make an audible click - replace it.
You should also test the output pin of the relay, by applying power to the coil (pins 86 and 86 on the relay) and checking for power at pin 87.
I'd be guessing the relay is at fault.
Good luck!

There is no relay on the headlights.
There is 2 seperate fuses, one for each headlight.
If both headlights went at once, then i would suggest your switch is not working properly

According to my circuit diagram, there are relayes for the headlights. It makes sense as you wouldn't want 55W x 2 flowing through your right indicator stalk and overheating.

What you will find is that there are NO relays associated with the headlights on an EG.
55W x 2 is still less than 10A,& a the stalk switch can handle this quite easily.
The headlights go straaight thru the switch & are then divided onto 2 seperate fuses, one for each headlight.
