Long story short, my D15B7 needs replacing because its a fairly old motor, and i found a good bargain on a D16Y4 that comes with gearbox, block, head, pretty much the entire engine.

Problem is, My D15B7 is OBD1 and the new engine is OBD2.

I kno paul (honda_b_blasting) had written up a small thread in the past regarding the conversion, but i still want to clear things up a little bit.

Questions
1. i will be using my OBD1 loom, so does that mean i will be using my injectors, plugs, fuel rail and the wiring from my D15B7 motor on my D16Y4?

2. I have examined the dizzy on the D16Y4, and the plug is definately different and will not connect to the plug on my OBD1 loom. Can i use my D15B7 dizzy on my D16Y4 head? or is there another way to resolve this

3. The D16Y4 has an alternator with a different plug and will not plug into my OBD1 loom, can i swap this alternator for my D15B7 alternator to resolve this problem? or is there another way this can be done so that the plugs will fit

4. Will a D16Y1 rocker cover fit on my D16Y4 head?

needing the Ozhonda community's help again

not in a hurry, but i have already bought the D16Y4 engine. it is only 100 xxxkm old and too cheap to pass. but let me know when it is forsale, i have some mates that might want to grab their hands on one

i have the complete engine harness from a d16y4 that i am looking to convert to OBDI. If your dizzy will work with thr y4, perhaps we can do a swap of harness + dizzy?
