Wassup fellows...

What Exhaust would give you the most gains? in performances? because there are alot on the market... but i dunno which one is good and bad.. all i know is that the BC are mostly defects because of the noise level...

So which one of the market will give me the best gains?

Powergetter or RMO1A

Powergetter or RMO1A

Both these exhausts are well made and nice and quiet but I would not say they would give the best gains.

If you want the best gains maybe get a custom 2.5-3 inch system with enough mufflers and resonators to keep the noise to a level you like. Evidence on the Clubrsx forums suggest that k20a2 engines make more power with a larger diameter exhaust than is normal for an NA 2L.

Edit: Since your title asked what exhaust everyone is running, I am using an Amuse R1 Titan. Very light but not as large diameter as I would like. I cannot recommend Amuse exhausts highly enough, they are very high quality.

Fujitsubo Power Getter with TODA headers.

FGK powergetter here, i had a toda before, similar noise level but i prefer the look of the powergetter.
oh yah and the toda cracked, gotta love that :(

Mugen header with mugen twinloop for street...
Spoon 4-2 section with mugen N1 full exhaust for track....

WOW! 2 systems! NICE :P

Im running BC headers with FJ RM01A catback good noise level for a non loud exhaust..

Running Toda Headers and Toda Cat back, not to loud and has a really nice clean note! Highley recommend it

im running a 2.5inch custom catback system on mine, i was gonna go the jdm brand name ones but do u realise that they use the same piping on all the exhausts they make, 60.5mm for b16 right through to k20-k24, 60.5mm is too small for dc5r i think

How are the xforce cat backs for a DC5R?

JDM DC5r headers, Mugen Twin loop catback... quiet enough for me to hear the induction note :p

have only ever heard good things about toda, RMO1a and power getter... all are quiet simular in style... just depends what kinda tip you want :p

What does anyone recommend for race application? I got the PG because it was road legal (sort of). Now that car is off road I'm looking for maximum performance.

since every exhaust is about 2.5 inch or 70 mm, wil it be too loud?

and lose some low end torque?

anyone used buddy club b4?

seem the b pipe for dc5r is pretty straight, and pretty much a straight thru muffler design for most brand, which give the best power output at low noise level...

and one thing...which is the cheapest?

What do you guys think about the 5Zigen Pro Racer A-Spec for the DC5 ?

I'm thinking about buying this, and perhaps TODA headers?

J's Racing FX 60RS Titanium Muffler - Acura RSX 02+ (DC5)

J's Racing developed the full titanium exhaust system for street and circuit application. Titanium is used as material to reduce massive weight. The piping design is to reduce as much back pressure as possible to obtain maximium power gains. Silencer can also be purchased to reduce exhaust sound.

have a look on clubrsx for a video of all the exhausts, the j's racing sounds the best imho

So with TODA headers and a straight pipe this would be the one to run with? Any idea where I can get it from?

Do you know who sells these, and how much?

AMuse R1 is very nice as well.

And very light 3.6kg without resonator.

if your strictly using it for race, get the bc spec2. That is pretty much a straight pipe with an internal Diameter of 2.5 inch. It has a narrow resonator and pretty much no muffler.
Its cheap at around $850. instead of in the 2 G range for the j's and amuse

does the mugen twin loop catbak bolt onto the dc5s cat without modification? yay/nay

im running a custom 3 inch exhuast. i saw some gains over my fujitusbo rm01 2.5inch exaust system. low end got a bit doey, but after tune, everything was normal as the rmo1.

Leaning towards the J's Racing FX70RR in blue at this stage. Just need to explore fitting options with TODA headers I already have on car. The FX70RR bypasses where the cat and donut flange should be so I may need a flexijoint fitted.

Have you considered the J's 4-2 manifold to match up to the 70RR? All the pictures I have seen of the 70RR suggest that the 2-1 pipe is slip fitted to the b pipe so that if you wish to use the Toda you would need a flange welded to the J's.

Yeah I saw that also. I'm just trying to avoid wherever possible replacing items I just spent a whole heap of money on. I know that'll be the best option so it looks like I'll have a TODA header / Fujitsubo PG combo up for sale soon.

A lot of people seem to run powergetter over rm01a. any particular reason?

BECOZ ITS CHEAPER AND LOUDER!
