Notice that the new F22C has a lower Rev limit and lower Horsepower but increased torque.

Seeing its swinging a bigger crank and its added displacement, that would be why. ;)

The F22 has a longer crank throw and shorter rods. As a result piston speeds at any given rev are higher and the sideways force on the cylinder wall is higher. Hence the reduction of redline to be within the same reliability factor as the F20.

But due to the greater displacement the engine produces similar power at lower revs and a bit more torque. Excellent for obese Americans.

dont u know that america is the most obese country in the world.... followed by us... lol

but yeh higher torque, good to get those bigger americans moving.

IT is , the actual reason Honda made this for the US market. The US complained of the lack of torque , so honda made an answer.

BTW torque is great for pulling extra weight :)
