Does anyone have any suggestions on appropriate cd/radio units to replace existing honda radio/cassettee unit in 1994 Civic GLi sedan?

aftermarket or OEM ?
aftermarket needs a wiring job though.
dont think they make aftermarket headunit with the eg pin connector.

^ i think they do, cant remember tho! after market harness to fit OEM wiring.

even with that you still have to wire it in. all that does is saves your factory plugs so u dont have to chop them off.. they are become rarer these days.

not really ? that pic, all u do is just connect the wires onto the aftermarket harness, then just plug n play. 5min job

they also fit dc2/4 with no problems, wish i knew that b4 i cut mine off :( ahh well there's always the wreckers
But to answer the original q.......whatever you want to put in, so long as it is a single din it will fit
i couldnt find one anywhere for a ford laser of all things! but yes it is simple wiring i agree. who is going to replace there headunit with standard when they sell anyway. these days u can purchase a cd player for around $80 but yes to keep thinks clean if u can find one by all means buy it:)
