Hi guys just wondering if any of you have noticed your ABS kicking in upon upgrading your calipers and rotors? I'm suposing that since it has more stopping power its not actually locking up and thus the ABS is not required but just wondering if;

1) I have somehow disabled it?
2) it no-longer reacts properly due to different calipers & rotors

I know that i haven't touched any of the ABS components, but how does the ABS release the brakes and engage them anyway? is it thru the MBC?
All i know is that the one time i engaged them a while ago the car went kinda jerky. ALso i know the CV joints on the ABS models have these geared grooves how do they work?

ok worked it out. Must be fine as the diagnostics do not show any issues.
For those of you with the same questions have a read of this link i just found it kinda answers it all, even though its based on earlier models, the principal is still the same.

long story short, valves in th ABS/ALB modulator send regenerated brake fluid pressure to the caliper after if has release pressure to the caliper of the locked wheel to control wheel lock via the ABS ECU monitoring the wheel speed of each wheel
