ey guys,

i have a "wurring" noise comes from my engine after i backoff the throttle at 3000rpm.

i had my timing belt done about 3 months ago, and the noise has only come within the last month...

now i think its one of the ACC belts..

my question is, can i remove the 3 acc belts (pwr str, air con, alt.) and start the car n see if its gone??

OMG.JAI xD

just make sure you dont have a crappy battery..

or dont run it too long.

oh and is that noise when the engine is under load (driving) or in neutral?

the cv joint wont make a whirring noise, more a clicking round corners, but get yourself a boot soon.
like you said,to see if its the belts you can take them off and run the car to see if its gone, but something a bit easier is to run the car, hear for the noise, then spray some silicon spray on the belts,or stop car and put some rubber grease on them, then see if the noise is gone.then you can either see how long it stays quiet for, tighten them if loose,or replace them
