so no one can confirm? by the way, do we need a JDM cat to fit the spoon header?

You will have no clearance issue...
You will also need an S2000 or FD2 CTR donut gasket & femal flange.
(As a minimum)
JDM Yard have the flanges in stock - $50 or so.

Idealy you use a JDC cat or test pipe with high flow cat fitted to this.

So with a spoon extractor, i need some flanges and a JDM cat right? What about the cat-back?

if you can afford it go for the spoon cat and cat-back. Get the whole exhaust to match!

if you use jdm cat your catback wont bolt up because jdm cat is 12inches, so you need to get your bpipe modified/extended...

yeh, that should be o.k, but you need to take the headers to an exhaust shop to have the 2.5inch flange chopped off and a smaller one welded on, depending on the shop, they might even use a flex pipe....

Hmmn, righto. Thanks

Hmmn, i was thinking, if the exhaust shop makes the 2.5 inch flange to a 2.25 inch, wont there be a loss in flow? What about enlarging the hole in the audm cat.....is that possible?

By the way, i have read a few threads saying that the spoon header sits 1 inch below stock...is that the spoon 4-2-1 header or the 4-1 header or both? Or is that information incorrect? Please help as i need to pay the cash already...

Thanks for the advise

Spoon is based of stock JDM design, just a tad fatter.

IMO wouldn't pay that much for a Spoon header. Go Toda or Mugen or something?

TODA ftw

they make great 4-2-1 headers =) and their cats are good too

Toda 4-2-1 Header > Toda Hi-Flo Cat > Mugen Catback = one of the best setups available =)

i guess if it flows 2.5 until the cat, and then 2.25 for the cat... still alright, but it will be best if straight 2.5 flows...

enlarging the cat will be too much work, i guess better find aftermarket cat with custom setup or somethin..
