Hi All,

Noob question: What is the best way to remove those old baked on dealer stickers from your rear window? I really wish the dealers wouldn't put them on...

(Actually, the i-VTEC sticker is looking a bit crap also, I will remove it as well).

Cheers,
Steve

if u haven't got those..

just use a sharp razor blade.. at an angle and peel away at the same time.. start in one of the corners and then work your way across the sticker...

then if there is some residue left use some glue tac or some turps on a rag to get the excess glue off..

best thing is a stanley knife blade hold it on angle and peels up straight away then use turps to rub off all the sticky stuff left behind...
ive put that many decals on my car and removed most of them off its the best and easiest way...

definitely use a sharp razor blade

As long as you dont hold it on some stupid angle you will do fine

Any stickers i have had to remove...ive done with razor blade...just be carefull and dont leave ur other hand in the way encase for hard bits

whatever you do, disregard f*ckwits that suggest paint stripper on a sticker

all that gooey gunk thats left behind can be removed with degreaser..
sticker itself can be removed with a razor blade since its on glass.

Dont use a sharp razor blade, risk of scratching your glass.
Use a butterknife (might take awhile, but lower risk) and the residue thats left, you can use alot of shit to remove that!

if your careful with where u use it, it shouldn't be a problem??? but this is only for glass remember not on the bodywork itself, hence why i suggested it as a last resort.. i used glue tac but i know that turps on a rag.. if used carefully will do the job, just get a shammy and go over it after.

if your holding the razor almost parallel to the glass u wont scratch it unless your a dud. common sense.. suggests u push the razor along the glass.. not use it like a knife and go up and down..
