Hi,

im planing to put in a b16b 2000 into my eg8 sedan vti d15b, putting in to engine is the easy part. Wiring is the hard part. Can somebody tell me what harness, ecu do i need?

obd2b harness and ecu from the ek9, did u get any of these when u bought the engine? u will need a conversion harness obd2b -> obd1 or obd0 which ever one ur car is

use the EG Vit Harness in the car

use the B16A2 engine harness OBDI

when i bought the halfcut i got everything ie. ecu, engine harness, etc

i think my car is obd1.

the obd2b harness, is that the engine harnesses that comes with the halfcut?

a bloke in another honda forum, quote that i needed the b18c type r engine harness and an odb1 p28 ecu chipped to plug into my eg.
he said this would be the easiers way to plug n play. is this true?

Yeah don't bother taking my advice...

Your car is an EG, the engine harness from the B16b won't work on your car it's a completely different setup on the EK's.

What you need is a obd2a engine harness from an Integra, ITR for true play and play. Modify your interior harness with a couple of wires. Then buy a obd1 -> obd2a jumper harness to use the EK9 ecu you got with the cut.

what wires needs to be modify? where can i buy a jumper harness?
and also how hard is it to find itr engine harness?

can i use an eg6 harness?
