i think i need a new clutch mine is slipping too much. when i am accelerating hard and change to second fast have let the clutch out all the way the revs spin higher then drop down to match the gear. i have read up bout this on here and haven't been able to find a clutch to suit me cos i have little experience with clutches as my last 3 car were autos. my car is a eg civic si with a d16a8 DOHC.

i don't mind a little bit harder pedal from a higher sprung pressure plate but something that is not to harsh engaging but won't slip with hard fast shifts. don't know whether a cushioned button or organic etc? i don't really know how that will affect the feel and therefore my driving in the real world. i know one is more harsh etc but what how does that affect daily driving.
i know most will say exedy hd kit but what else is there? and for around what price? sorry for my noobness but i have searched and ain't really to big of a noob.

search info on exedy sports organic clutches found thisExperiences with Exedy Sports Organic Clutch (http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/showthread.php?t=36222)
and read a mostly happy replies to that which would make me seriously consider one. another link in that thread
Heavy duty clutch !! (http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/showthread.php?t=18409&highlight=Exedy+Sports+Organic+Clutch)

so i'd either go a exedy HD or sports organic. but what else is there from other brands?

in there somewhere it said if you car is stock you'll only need a stock clutch. is there truth to this. my car's only engine mods are kn panel filter and cannon. no real mods there so i still call it stock. the d16a makes more power than than the ol d16y's non vtec's tho.
