Hey guys, i originally did this mod ages ago when i took off my spoiler (because honda take the globes out of your centre stop light when you purchase spoiler) but just havent had the time to post DIY or pics... as many of you would agree, incandescant globes look boring/ugly on cars, so i decided to change my centre mount stop light to LEDs. very easy mod to do, aslong as you can solder and do basic math :p

i just completed the DIY guide, so as soon as its approved i'll post a link to it :D

You love your LED's, nice work, i've been meaning to try this myself, but havent been brave enough to rip the parcel shelf apart to install the row of LED's. Look forward to seeing this DIY mate.

If you want an LED center light, simply install a 7440 LED bulb as like below

They can be purchased from here ftw

yeah but that doesnt give the cool/sexy "LED bar" look... besides, those things normally arent bright enough, it looks so at night, but during day time, all LED replacements ive seen are not bright enough... defect :( and they only face up into the reflector housing (because of the way the globe sits in the housing.... whereas my setup faces the LEDs rearwards directly at the car about to run up your ass...

Yeah it depends on which LED bulbs you get, the ones I have are very bright and have LED's pointing 90 degrees sideways as well so they reflect the light off the metallic dome properly. The ones that only shoot light into one direction are no good.
