LOL
Spoon Accord is most definately correct.

I did the same thing, biggest pain in the arse!!!!!!!

It isnt too hard to do , just take your time and do it right.
remember, measure 10 times cut once instead of measuring once and cutting 10 times.

be careful when fitting screws into the back of your new deck. dont use to much of a long screw as you dont want to damage anything on the inside.

bought a new fabricated peice of another car... (cannot remember what)
but he said he got it from fairfield car audio.
he got it dirt cheap, and it works very well.

If they are the holes u mean the screw holes at the back of the OEM radio that attach to the support frame at the back

You need to use the cradle cage you got with the after market unit to keep it in place instead

Are we on the same page?

Also go get a wiring harness from JB HiFi Aeropro make them... Plugs into the old harness and has all the wires already color coded so you just color match on the new head unit harness
About $15 but makes like so so easy

Push it all the way into the empty slot and using pliers or screw driver force those tabs out all the way as far as you can until they are at a right angle

Then once the wiring is all done n shit; plug the harness, RCA's (if applicable) and aerial into the head unit and slide it into the cage, then clip on the surround and faceplate

Done like a dinner

Took me maybe 10? 15 minutes to install my head unit into my EK

What i meant Sean i bought a In-Dash Mounting Kit for our Accord it cost me 50 buck and if fits perfectly, deck does not move around and it look factory aswell. Heres a site that gives you step by step instruction on how to remove the deck and using the harness also using the in-dash mounting kit for a perfect fit.

hey andy,
Sorry about the confusion, but all the same, the mounting kit IMO is a perfect way to mount a head unit for accords.
You would obviously reccomend it.
btw, coilovers should be here in a few hours :)
