Hi guys, just wondering how much lower can I drop my ride height? I'd still like to maintain reasonable ride without breaking my back each time I drive on harsh surface and those road bumps :D

It's still on stock configuration, all stock including suspension, etc.

Thanks.

If using stock sus, I wouldnt go kings. You need to get a set of progressive rate springs. Which still has a good ride whilst giving a sporty feel. Stock sus should be in good condition which I would assume yours is. Ill look at the TEIN's or SPOON progressive's from the traders section.

Dont use KINGS if wanna have a good ride.

Another vote NOT for Kings, crap springs that are too harsh and prone to sagging.
What's the budget?
Options normally are:
1) If you for a lowered look, get springs. Shocks generally won't last as long though.
2) Lowered springs and matched shocks for lowered looks and better handling.
3) Coilovers (my choice if it was my car). Height and damper adjustable, great lowered look without the bumyness. Coilover are generally only a lil bit more than a spring and shock combo (sometimes cheaper).

As far as how low you can go I often use the specs as a guide. E.g. Road clearance is XXXmm and road legal must be over 100mm so that gives you XXX-100mm to play with. Depending on your local roads, cops and driveway usually determines your chosen height.

I think I am striving with that balanced..

As suggested by Nepolian's suggestion for Tein or Spoon progressive springs, I'll look into that

What's the preferrable shocks for number 2 above??? Tein or Spoon as well?

Good quality progressive springs work well with good std shocks still offering good ride and handling. Good after market shocks never hurt though, cheaper ones would be koni yellows. Otherwise a set of coil overs. All depends on what you're doing with the car. I dont see the point of having coilovers for street car. My2c....

hahah irfan, i can see u r into mods already.

If i were u i'd drop it 1-1.5" (front and back). I have lovell low springs and kyb gas shocks on mine. It's pretty firm, u can feel the harsh surface. But whatever u do, i suggest u change the shocks (koni, bilstein) as well and not just the springs. As with coilover, i agree with nepolian.

Rofl how you doing mate

So I would have to change the whole stock shocks and the springs/coilover? Is it beneficial to choose same brand for both or I can mix and match them?
