[ Teg Ls ] Hid's - Will H4 Fit Even Though Its H4h?

will the hid kit h4 fit on the integra ls even though bulb size is h4h? i have bought mtec's ages ago that are h4h and they fit although the metal ring around it doesnt fit. but it fits into the harness. im wondering if this is the same with the hid kit and is there any other better way to do this.

the answer is no. You will have to modify the housing in order to make it fit. There is a DIY on www.g2ic.com

you can keep the kit , just get H4H HID bulbs to suit , and sell the H4 bulbs.
Generally , all ballasts are the same and most wiring is the same.

i chose to modd the bulbs ratherthan the headlights myself, i tried a few methods, and must say i havent got it perfect just yet, im not using HID tho, just a set of white halogens. the ring with the locators sits about 20mm further up from the H4 on a H4H, its a pain! im wondering if aftermarket headlights come with H4, or even better, the projectots ive seen for Da9, they wuld be great for HID

yeh aftermarkets dont come with h4h...
and yes.. your better off modding the bulb rather than the housing
i have a guide on where to cut the bulb.. ill dig it up and show you if i can find it

i was going to suggest as someone else had, to get the h4h hid bulbs from ebay and sell the h4 ones. Thats what i did.

h4h PIA's i think for 4300K hmm $70 altogether including shipping from some guy on ebay. which is nto a good price as he is from hong kong..

i just went to change the headlight all together hahaha...coz i think with the original housing the light taht shin out get chattered alot...

but yeah got another friend still using the stock lights..so show us a pic when its done plz...

o yeah damn i forgot to check them out...if i was gonna say i wanna do it on my aftermarket ones..but then..they were present from my friend..dun wanna wreck them...how hard was it to do....i t hink i'll talk to u on msn about this..
