View Full Version : Leaking Sunroof EG5 VTi HELP ME!!

Hey Guys

My EG5's sunroof has started to leak and I need advice on fixing it..

I've cleaned the seal round the glass and it didn't help.

So I saw in a Lub post that there are drain holes that get blocked and you can see the holes clearly in a pic in the post but I can't see any like that on my VTi

i dont know if the civics are the same as the tegs but heres a diy on it for the tegs.

The Seal Alright?

Looks fine and feels good but clearly its leaking.

I've read they all leak a bit thats why there drain holes and I'm guessing mine are blocked

i dont know if the civics are the same as the tegs but heres a diy on it for the tegs.

okay, call up any dealer, tell them you need a part for your sunroof, and ask them to fax/email a pic over to you, and you'll call em back

Dam it

I called Honda and they said there's two drain holes, one front drivers side and one back passenger side.

The leak is front passenger so there's no drain hole where I need it :thumbdwn:

Looks like fixing the leak is the only option

God I hate Honda Dealers

$120 hour plus new sunroof is $1200
